So your list indicates that I should have a total of 9 input leads from my board. However, I only have five (R,B,G, Grnd & Video Sync) coming off my JAMMA harness. I hooked up the R,B,G & Grnd as indicated and the VSync on pin #3 of 204 as suggested by one of my friends. All I get on the monitor is a compacted white screen. What am I doing wrong?

The Jamma cabinet wiring harness "video sync" wire will connect to BOTH pins 2 and 3 of p204 on the video card.

See Bob Roberts' pictures:

Thanks again for all of your help. I saw that the JAMMA harness from the cab that I took the monitor out of had that jumper wire, so I tried that as well. As of last night, I was still getting a white screen which was pinched horizontally. The only idea that I have come up with so far is that maybe I swapped the VSync and ground wires. Does this make any sense? Is there anything else that I should be looking at?

So I hooked everything up as directed and still only get a white screen that is slightly cut on both longitudinal sides. No picture, no color, nothing. Attached are some pics of the wire setup. Any ideas what I am doing wrong or where else I should be looking for issues?

Can you trace the wires back to the Jamma harness? It looks like you have a solid white wire that should go to the Jamma Sync position and a white with black stripe that should go to the ground.

You should also try a different Jamma board if you have one and report the results.

Oryk, the white/black wire was traced back to the Video ground on the JAMMA harness and the solid white to the VSinc on the harness. The board works fine in my JAMMA NEO GEO Cab. Someone suggested that they should be a second ground for the Vsinc. Is this true?

There is a second place for ground but it is rarely used. It is the first pin on the set of three pins. If you look at the pic you put in post #11 you'll see that both the ground you have connected and the ground you haven't connected are tied together. There is no need to connect another ground wire.

Do you have another Jamma board that you can put in this cab temporarily?

With a solid white screen you are receiving all colors in all places. I have only seen this unexpectedly when the screen pot on the flyback was turned all of the way up.
